All loans are secured by residential and commercial properties located in California only. Our investment requirements are based solely on equity in the property, an ability to service the debt and a realistic plan to repay the loan. All of our loans are funded with private investor capital that we have cultivated throughout our years in the business.

Maggio Capital was founded by Carl S. Maggio (California DRE Broker #01216308 and NMLS #700208). A San Diego resident since 1978, Carl grew up in La Jolla, California and graduated from La Jolla High School in 1991. After graduating from Arizona State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he took out his California Real Estate Salesperson License. He commenced his real estate career representing buyers and sellers of residential properties where he gained extensive knowledge of the real estate industry and the Southern California housing market.

In 2006, Maggio took out his Real Estate Broker License and co-founded a hard money lending and mortgage company in La Jolla, California. In 2009, he went out on his own and founded Maggio Capital, Incorporated in Del Mar, California. Maggio is a proud member of the California Association of Mortgage Professionals, San Diego Chamber of Commerce, San Diego Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Maggio Capital is honored to be an accredited business by the Better Business Bureau, and is licensed by the California Department of Real Estate, Broker #01883341 and Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System #308757.
